LISA DAVINA PHILLIP

Lisa Davina Phillip is a British Actress born and raised in South London, where her passion for performing began at Second Wave Youth Arts. She Studied Drama, Media and Popular Culture at the University of Northampton and was later the recipient of The Academy Drama Schools’ 2001 Stage Scholarship, before embarking her career on the stages of London’s West End.

Lisa Davina is an accomplished character actor and singer with over 17 years’ experience in the industry across multiple genres including film, tv, theatre, musicals and radio. Her enthusiasm and charm are immediately felt through her warm smile and bright eyes. Her impeccable comedy timing is equally matched by her sensitive dramatic poise. Lisa has a great reputation for surrendering to every role including creating the role of Clara in Ghost The Musical and featuring on the original cast recording. And firm but fair headteacher Mrs Barratt in CBeebies Apple Tree House which received the 2018 Broadcast Award for Best Pre -school programme.

Lisa Davina’s smooth earthy undertones undulate her radio work. She played Dolly McPherson in Maya Angelou: A Sung Flung Up To Heaven which won the Outstanding Contribution to Radio Drama at the BBC Audio Awards 2020.

Lisa’s catalogue of works also include, rehearsed readings, audio, corporate and the great British Christmas tradition of Pantomime. Lisa Davina home educates her actress daughter Miai Leonie and both raise awareness for Sickle Cell Anaemia.
